My first feature: Fast Girls

I’m delighted to announce that I will be scoring my first feature film: Fast Girls. The film is written by Noel Clarke (Kidulthood, Adulthood) and produced by Damien Jones (The Iron Lady, History Boys). Regan Hall is directing, I worked previously with Regan on the Revlon Professional ad.

I’ve already begun preparation for the score, the film will be released next year. More details to follow…

Recording with the REME Band

On Tuesday we travelled to REME HQ in Arborfield to record the Corps Band performing my score for Above and Beyond: The Craftsman. It was truly an honour to have them perform my music. Thanks to Cpt Watterson and the band for their patience and professionalism. I’ll preview a track on my website soon.

Currently scoring Above & Beyond: The Craftsman

Autumn is here and I’m happily squirreling away in my home studio as the leaves are quickly dropping from the trees outside the window. Up until the end of November I will be scoring my epic World War 2 short ‘Above and Beyond: The Craftsman’. There is a lot of music to write for this short, and as I’ve mentioned in the last post it will be performed by the excellent REME corps band.

Expect some updates on progress nearer the end of November, and perhaps some music in December…

WW2 film score to be performed by REME Corps band

My score for the WW2 short ‘Above and Beyond: The Craftsman’ will be performed by the Corps band of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. The film is being produced by myself and Rowland Kimber, and we’ve been working closely with REME and Wally Harris MM from the conception of the project. More information to follow…
