Brief
The music plays a key role in this film, as it is the driving force throughout. Staying objective while scoring the film was very important, due to the provocative and sometimes upsetting subject matter. The music needed to be delicately reflect what is happening, while allowing the audience to make their own mind up about the festival.
Result
The film won 'Film of the Festival' at Raindance, as well as 'Best UK Short'. It was nominated for 'Best British Short' at the British Independent Film Awards.
I have repeatedly and consistently witnessed Richard transform films with his subtle and acutely sensitive work; adding a layer of finesse that forms a subliminal binding to the narrative. Richard’s emits a true passion for music.
